My name is Ben Ricard, I am a professional photographer based in Cannes.

I grew up in suburban Los Angeles and at a young age I always had some sort of camera in my hands. From family vacations to nights out with friends, I always had to capture those special moments that we can only truly appreciate later in life. Capturing a photo helps build your story and those moments in life that define you.

At the age of 22, I moved to the South of France in Cannes mainly due to an opportunity to play professional basketball. I continued my passion of photography on the side until I landed my first commercial job a year later. Since then, I've worked with hundreds of incredible people along the way sharing their story.

Everything fascinates me so it's been my greatest challenge to specialize my photography in a certain category. At first I thought this was a handicap because as the famous saying says, "Jack-of-all-trades, master of none." It took me a couple years to realize that my focus was not on what type of photography I should propose, but focus on what my clients want to achieve and realize it for them.
